ALUMICOAT
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Say Hello to AlumiCoat, the first ceramic coating for Aluminum surfaces!

What looks better than shiny aluminum surfaces that require ZERO effort to clean?
AlumiCoating is a highly durable, high heat resistant aluminum protection system that is easy to apply on many metal surfaces. Once applied, AlumiCoat will create a hard chemical resistant layer that protects from UV rays, brake dust, and natural wear and tear. Surfaces become extremely easy to clean with hydrophobic properties, keeping cleanup easy and quick. Coating can last up to 2 years, no polishing required!
Safe to use on rims, fuel tanks, valve covers, exhaust tips, brake calipers, and other chrome and aluminum surfaces.
Application methods: by hand (one direction ONLY) OR pray apply (HVLP)
HAND APPLICATION
-
Clean your aluminum surface with a prep solution (2/3 Windex to 1/3 acetone) or IPA surfactant cleaner to remove all oils and contamination. Not cleaning the surface entirely before application will result in undesirable results.
-
Prime the application (6 - 8 drops).
-
Apply 4 - 5 drops per section of the surface you are working on.
-
Cross hatch the coating on the surface to make an even layer
-
Wait 8 - 10 minutes before removing (based on humidity- see below)
-
Allow AT LEAST 24 hours before using the surface. Do not get wet or wash the surface. It is recommended that you wait 7 days before initial use or cleaning of the surface after it is coated. While you can use or and clean after 24 hours, the hardness and integrity of the coating strengthens day by day. Therefore, for optimal results, we recommend you wait 7 days before washing or using the surface.
